REGISTRAR GENERAL OF HIGH COURT TAKES UP THE MATTER : SEEKING FOR COMPROMISE ? WE WON'T BOW DOWN

After incessant protests for 2 days, the Registrar General of the High Court of Jharkhand came forward to listen to pleas of the students. The students were steadfast on their demands of meeting no one but The Chief Minister and Chief Justice (Ex Officio Chancellor of the University). The petition along with the signatures of all the students of the University were put forth before the Registrar General of High Court so that he could brief the Chief Justice and that was considered only after he made us aware of the Chancellor's prior commitments which will keep him away from Ranchi till 17th April from tomorrow. Nevertheless the students are still steadfast on their demands of having a dialogue with The Chief Minister and the Hon'ble Chief Justice of High Court failing which the protests will continue for an indefinite period. At the same time, the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor has made irresponsible comments citing the protests to be an act of brain drain by certain notorious students of the University and also made a statement that the protest is only for getting a day or two off. Further he stated that he has tried all his best which have yielded no benefits to the students(Wonder what level of efforts he has taken so far). P. S- The Registrar General in previous instances of protests has given only false hopes and fake assurances which are yet to yield any benefits for the students.
