The line was saved and now runs with very reduced hours and no 24/7 cover at weekends and now is incorporated with the Welbeing line There was a reply from Alistair Burt the health minister to the letter to David Cameron he is under the misapprehension that we have a 24/7 crisis line available to us. HOW WRONG CAN HE BE!!! The crisis teams don't want to pick up when the line is closed, their standard answer is ' your not open to them ' I feel really let down and that I have let everyone else down. WE NEED A 24/7 LINE AGAIN AS IT WAS IN THE FIRST PLACE. Get rid of 4 of the CCGs and run with one with reps from 5 regions, save £ Thousands in duplicated salaries. Heather
