Gosforth Nest Box Occupied!

We are thrilled to see swifts are using the externally-fitted Swift boxes that have been installed in Newcastle.

This beautiful Swift has just moved into a box in Church Road, Gosforth!

Installation of the boxes was made possible through Newcastle City Council's Ward funding and the hard work of Northumberland Wildlife Trust, local volunteers and swift groups.

We still need to push Newcastle City Council to mandate internally fitted nest bricks in all new development.
