A 'NEW' New Parks Leisure centre is in your hands!!! Petition is at 1929
We are now getting closer to the 3rd of November deadline when the Council consultancy closes. I am hoping by then we can all encourage at least one or two of our friends/family to vote to save a central point of our community. As the generated image shows there is room to expand the facility and reduce running costs with solar etc. This new area could be used for a multitude of activities including a much larger gym, canteen/meeting room, activity room etc. Obviously existing areas can be refreshed or reconfigured to encourage people to attend, which I am sure they will if new. We ALL need to fill out the consultancy explaining what we want and how this would impact us if it were to become a few blocks of houses. If you have filled the form out already and wish to add a further comment please do it again. These ideas/suggestions are what they are looking for. Similarly if you realise that without this centre being available you would now have to catch 2 buses to get to Braunstone please let them know.
