Despite the mini heat wave we had, things in the gardens are doing well. There's some blossoming happening, some fruit beginning, and happy little critters. There's little chirps , both insect and bird visitors. While grass lawns were brown spotting, native flora here strengthened. The bees, ladybugs, beetles, grasshoppers, and lightning bugs all had resources aplenty. 

We've been out and about the garden, pulling weeds and defining beds. We have been pushing making it "less unsightly" from a drive by standpoint. (Let's be honest that nobody driving by can understand the delicate beauty and is using prejudgment to use those unkind words.) 

We are still attending City Council meetings, still writing emails. We are going to be putting in a small library and some educational pieces as well.
