We have been busy between putting petition flyers around town, linking up with new methods of getting the word out there / new connects in the community, and fixing the damages.

Today, among the buzzing raspberry bushes, we saw our larger bumble friend back! It's been far too long since she's been on site. She was working so hard with other pollinators on the bush, filling up those pollen packets. It was a relief to know she remembers us and felt safe enough to visit. 

Plants are slowly rebuilding, boxes are getting there, and we even put in some hopeful natives. We are balancing the front yard and back so apologies if you walk by and things look chaotic. Birds are taking notes as well, watching and visiting again. Our squirrel friends decided the baby peach tree was delicious, but then feeling safe here if enough for us.
