Over the weekend I've had numerous, equally upset climbers, locals, and on lookers contact me with numerous ways some action can be taken to stop and negotiate this ban.  

Without beating around the bush; if you are a Victorian resident PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE sign a petition backed by the local MP Emma Kealy that needs a minimum of 10,000 signatures for an extended consulation period here:
