Congratulations. We did it!

Thank you all for supporting this petition. Your support opened doors which meant our campaign were able to put people & organisations in contact with each other who were able to save this provision for the community of Freshwater, Yarmouth & Totland 

We couldn’t have wished for a better organisation to take over the dental practice in Freshwater.
The Days already manage two dental practices on the Island, one of which treats only NHS patients. They also have the only practice which trains dental nurse & practitioners on the island and, from what I understand, they have sent dentists into schools, covering the cost personally.

This campaign also managed to raise awareness of the current crisis in dentistry on the Isle of Wight. Following the increased media attention, the IoW Council has vowed to take action on the Island’s “grossly inadequate” NHS dental care provision, and the Hampshire & IoW Integrated Care Board has finally promised to publish a long awaited plan for tackling the shortage of NHS dentists on the Island.
