The Corporate Affairs Manager has contacted us to confirm that the consultation has now ended. Unfortunately, there are no viable options to keep the shop open and the store will close on 3rd October 2026.

This is a blow for staff and for all those that rely on Morrisons, the Post Office and the ATM. Current Morrisons staff are being supported by their employers . We thank them for their excellent service over the years and wish them the very best for their futures. Ash-cum-Ridley Parish Council have advised us that they are exploring options to replace the Post Office and ATM.
