Last week, we celebrated International Save the Vaquita Day and heard from experts working in the field to save this beautiful species from extinction.

The event was followed up with an update from the Mexcian government, revealing that the vaquita is still around ─ and reproducing! Given the odds, that in itself is already great news.

This week, we continue our efforts to raise awareness for the vaquita. Our friend @KaseySnowArt on Twitch has organized Save the Vaquita Week, which brings together Twitch streamers from around the world to shine a spotlight on the world's most endangered marine mammal.
