Campaign posters have landed

So what's been happening? 

A massive thank you to everyone who has been in contact with messages of support. Its so rewarding hearing from you all and it gives me so much satisfaction knowing that so many of you are backing the #WiganHoops campaign. 

Over the last few weeks I've been making progress with the project and thought it would be timely to share some insights. 

Firstly the promotion campaign is really taking off. All the social media channels are now live so please like share and follow my posts. All channels can be found by searching @basketballwigan. Additionally, the campaign posters have been designed and printed (see attached photo) and these are beginning to be shared throughout the town across various locations. If you see a poster, I would be immensely grateful if you could take a photo and share this across your own social channels. 

Secondly, I've been networking with key stakeholders and have made some key connections both in Wigan and across the basketball community. Having the support of 'the friends of Mesnes Park group' has been fantastic. Allan and the team have been so helpful and supportive. I've also made some key connections with the council and I'm looking forward to our upcoming meeting. 

Thirdly, the business plan is starting to take shape and the advice I've received from the basketball community and hoopsfix foundation has been amazing. 

The road ahead is bright but there is still so much to do and momentum is key.

This is where I need your help. If you think #WiganHoops is a great initiative please help me promote the petition by sharing with friends and family + on social channels. The more noise I can create around the project and demonstrate the support, the more likely it is that we can make this dream a reality.
