Many thnaks for signing our petition. We have been working hard in the background advocating to keep Merrilands open, and draw attention to a national trend of quality NFP long daycares shutting down.
Several parents appeared on Four Corners last week, in another shocking investigation into the state of childcare in Australia. In this episode, Senator Jess Walsh, the minister for early education said that the government needs to do more to support NFP early learning centres. This sentament was repeated by her in Seanate Estimates last week.
But she has kept quite on our issue.
