As we close out another school year at Memphis Street Academy (MSA), we want to thank you for standing with us every step of the way. Together, we’ve celebrated academic growth, deepened community partnerships, and continued to provide essential support to our students and families.
Despite the challenges surrounding our future, MSA remains open—and we will be here for the 2025–2026 school year. We’ve created a safe, forward-thinking learning environment through programs like evidence-based literacy and math interventions, STEELS-aligned science instruction, and social-emotional supports. These efforts are reinforced by the vital services we offer beyond the classroom, including a free school-based health clinic, monthly produce giveaways to combat food insecurity, and a free English language program for parents.
The potential closure of our school would displace and disrupt the education of more than 500 students, 96% of whom identify as Hispanic, Black, or Multi-racial. But our mission remains unchanged: to be a lifeline and source of opportunity for the MSA community.
Thank you to our middle school families, staff, and supporters for your continued commitment. Let’s finish the year strong—and we look forward to welcoming our scholars back this fall.
