We appreciate everyone who has followed our story and supported us in our fight to save Memphis Street Academy (MSA).

Time is running out for MSA. We urgently need your help to raise awareness about the unfair treatment our school has endured from the Philadelphia School District over the past year, which was recently discussed on WURD’s The Source. 

Closing our school would have far-reaching consequences for the predominantly minority community we serve. The current system under which we operate allows schools like MSA to be singled out for closure while others are given the benefit of the doubt and recommended for renewal. Until procedures are amended, and answers are provided, all school closures must be put on hold.

MSA is scheduled to close at the end of June.
