The threat to the T.S. Bookshop has become life-and-death.

Staff have now been advised that the Bookshop and Library will close in less than 3 weeks and they will all be made redundant. August 13 will be the last day of operations.

This is no longer a merger — this is closure.

Melbourne Theosophical Society members can still stop this — but they are being kept in the dark.

The Board has made no public announcement that it is taking the axe to one of Melbourne’s oldest bookshop, a spiritual home to thousands of customers, and sacking the booksellers and librarians.

We need to spread the word that this is happening and put pressure on the Board to rethink this catastrophic decision.

If so, we need you at the members-only meeting next Saturday.

Email us at savethetsbookshop@gmail.com for an information package that challenges the Board’s disinformation, and sets out the case against this move.
