To all the Friends of Matilda Bay, 

I wanted to let you know that we now have 613 signatures on the petition, and growing! Thank you so much for your support! The original petitioner, Ms Julie Pegrum has kindly passed the management of the petition to me. I will continue to work with community groups to ensure their involvement and participation.

I wanted to stress, that it is not may aim to politicise this project. I see my role more to use the resources of my office to rally support and build a non-partisan coalition to reverse the decision to build the ferry terminal at Matilda Bay.
