However, the issue at hand is still unresolved. Dr Ganja or Mr Amiruddin Abdullah was arrested in May 2017 and still awaiting trial as his chemist report has been delayed for uncertain reasons. We need your help now more than ever to share and bring as many people possible to sign this petition. We will only be able to convince the government with a huge number of supporters. Malaysia needs a definitive research study dedicated to find out the affects of cannabis as there is no solid evidence on what it does to the human mind or body. Dato Farid Kamil who was recently accused of being under the influence of THC when he attacked the policemen and others present at the vicinity claimed that he was not intoxicated at all. This is another misleading fact that the public is exposed to. It is up to us to SHARE and create the opportunity for research that could save the lives of millions in the future. Why the government ignores and quickly silences any suggestion for research on cannabis is clearly unknown. But, with such great potential and the ability to treat even infants, it is ashamed that Malaysian bodies like AADK refers those who consume it as "shit" and classifies it as an ultimate killer drug!
