After 2 TV interviews with CBS News and an online petition with 221+ signatures from Macanta residents (565 signatures overall) asking the developer to move these houses and retain the open space - a new site development plan for Canyons Far South was proposed.

Tonight at Town Council, the revised plan was officially submitted by the developer and approved. In this plan, 15 lots were removed from the parcel of land. This gives us greater open space views and provides additional buffer for wildlife between our neighborhoods where we see our beautiful elk herds.
