Bernard McGuin & Collins Ibor- Lepton & Fenay Bridge Update

Bernard McGuin, Almondbury Ward Candidate Collins Ibor and my son Robert McGuin say "Thank You" to all 1,144 Local Residents signed this petition to stop hundreds of houses being built in Lepton & Fenay Bridge. Please continue to sign & share, if you already haven't change.org/p/save-lepton-fenay-bridge-from-development
Afraid Kirklees Labour Council are continuing to ignore local residents on building hundreds of houses. This will have an impact on Rowley Lane School and Lepton C.E. School. Almondbury Community School closed down against local Parents, children and local residents objections. King James is at fully capacity. Yet there will be more kids with hundreds of being built and yet to be built. Where will they go?.”
We want to hold to account that significant money would have been put into the Lepton & Fenay Bridge area. Under the 106 section scheme that protects green spaces, puts money into our sewage/drainage networks, our local roads and local schools.
We know in the past the council has a poor record of holding developers to account over 106 section and when they have received this money they have put it into areas like Batley and not put it into our local area.
On May 7th there is an all out Election. Labour have run the council for 17 years, meaning there is a chance for change and residents like you will not be ignored and actually listened too.
Thanks
Bernard McGuin , Cllr Candidate Collins Ibor - Almondbury Ward
