BIG UPDATE! CyrusOne (DFW10) quietly struck a closed-door power deal with Calpine and ERCOT to guarantee electricity for its massive Bosque County data center. This one facility will consume enough power to run 150,000+ homes — every single hour of every single day.

What does that mean for us? When the next Texas heat wave hits, our families and businesses will be told to conserve or face blackouts, while a private data center hums along at full speed.

This deal drives up costs, strains an already fragile grid, and puts Central and North Texas at even greater risk — all to protect corporate profits.

So here’s the question: How can we TRUST the Corps of Engineers and the Brazos River Authority when they cut private deals without public input, and now push to change Lake Whitney and the Brazos River Basin?

We need to be louder than ever. Demand answers. Defend our communities. Save our lakes and rivers!
