Over 7,800 signatures: Eye-opening OC EMS EPOT Data Supports an ER Here

We're now over 7,800 signatures on this petition and the data backs us up: Laguna Beach NEEDS an emergency room to support our coastal communities. Time is of the essence in an emergency. This is especially true when you look at transports.
The OC EMS APOT (Ambulance Patient Offload Times) dashboard is the source of the data in this table. Hoag was the fastest. Others somewhat slower in getting the patient from the field to back unit for the median averages.
For Laguna Beach, an urgent care is currently being proposed and a micro hospital study is underway. Legislation to permit a freestanding emergency department--currently barred under CA law--is being explored.
In the meantime, would you help us get to 10,000 by Oct. 31st to keep the momentum going? Posting to Facebook groups, Instagram stories, WhatsApp, Reddit, NextDoor or sending it directly via text or email will make a big difference. Thank you!
