Update and notes from our last meeting. 

Election of new board member officers: joining John P, and Mike

Welcome :Gisele Menard, Leon Ferguson, Pat Mould to the official Charter of our non profit. 

1. Goal to continue to work with city (thank you again for allowing us to be a part of the process) in creating a new ordinance that makes sense. 

2. Continue to press to get Andy's ordinance voted down. Don't forget upcoming vote on October 3rd. 

3. We, (LTLA) have retained attorney(John Mouton) former PNZ experience to get our wishes represented and presented to council. - thank you to all who have contributed and continue to do so. Www.lafayettetla.org/donate

4. Please continue to seek to be involved

-we are creating small communication teams 

These will be dividing our bulk group into groups of 10 to be in direct communication to keep everyone informed and involved. Message us if you would like to be a group leader.

5. We are also continuing to press to message other hosts directly through your platform apps to continue to grow our group and continue to build strength through unity. 

6. We discussed hosting an event post council meeting to rally support and show appreciation for our crew and supporters as well as raise awareness in the community. 

7. Continue to promote and update our resources tab on our website 

8. Continue to invite discussion and input from our members about a new ordinance draft on our private group page ( lmessage mike bass to join)
