Thank you to every single person that has shared and signed our petition! We have garnered 3,885 signatures so far. Your comments and shared memories have been so beautiful, THANK YOU! A quick update on where we stand—El Pueblo is still standing to evict our business. They have pushed back our meeting to May 23rd. They have just posted their meeting agenda for May 23rd and have decided to remove our item off the agenda for the second time without much of a reason other than our contract with the city is now over. Kevin de Leon has provided us his support and has set in a motion to city hall in our favor and has set in a motion at El Pueblo in our favor as well. He is set to appear at our hearing this Thursday.

We have seen that El Pueblo has been editing their documents in their favor. We are keeping track of everything. If you can, please show up in support in person this Thursday. We want to reiterate that this fight is bigger than our family business. This fight is to protect all merchants of Olvera Street, so that this does not continue to happen.
