Hello all,

Thanks to everyone who has shared this petition - we have almost 1300 names, which is great! A special thanks to Freya for her amazing efforts and to Andrew Kuttner too! 

We have a new council being formed next month which through a lack of candidates means that many of our new councillors will not need to go through the election process.  This isn’t necessarily a bad thing as there is to be a lot of change on the council, and this increases the prospects of a reversal on Kings Pond policy.

We need to make sure our message about saving Kings Pond remains as strong as ever - so until May we need to keep pushing this petition - sharing with friends, family, neighbours, work places etc - by all means share the www.savekingspond.co.uk link on social media. The more signatures we have, the stronger our message to the incoming council.
