Kerala State Sports Council has taken a decision to suspend Chess Association Kerala for the illegal acts committed. We thank the Sports Council and the Government of Kerala for standing with the players! We hope this will be a new beginning to ensure transparency and honesty in sports administration in the State and the Country! A news paper report states that "The Chess Association of Kerala (CAK) was suspended after it was found out that the body was functioning as per whims and fancies of a section of office-bearers including the association secretary.
