Hello Everyone,

Sad news about Karen’s cat Sweety. Sweety’s health deteriorated further and he had to be put to sleep by our vet, Jen, on Monday the 8th of April.

As Sweety was nearing the end of his life, he was allowed to be brought into the hospital for a visit to Karen. On Saturday the 6th Sweety came to visit Karen. He was delighted and very excited when he heard and saw Karen and purred & purred. He spent a lot of time on the bed with Karen. It was lovely to be with him but it was obvious that he was a very poorly boy.

Sweety was such a brave boy - he had to put up with such pain and discomfort for many years because he was chronically ill.

Sweety adored his brother Jake who we adopted at the same time as Sweety. Sadly, Jake died in June last year after a short illness. Jake and Sweety are now reunited.

We are all very sad about losing Sweety and we miss him.

Karen is devastated and even more so as she was unable to be with Sweety at home during his last few months giving him love and support.
