1,000 SIGNATURES! Thank you to everyone who has signed and shared this petition - your support means so much to Jim’s, their staff, and the families who’ve made this diner a second home for decades.

Here’s how you can take action today:

    1.    Visit and support Jim’s at the Mall in person.

Every meal, every visit, and every kind word matters right now. Let’s show the owners and staff how much the community is behind them.

    2.    Share this petition on your Facebook page or in local groups.

    3.    Email the Wilmorite Group, the mall’s developer and property manager:

info@wilmorite.com

Ask them to allow Jim’s more time or support for relocation or to keep their original agreement and allow Jims AT The Mall to stay IN the mall! Be respectful but firm - your voice matters.

    4.    Email Boscov’s directly.

Ask them to reconsider the impact on this family-owned business, or to support a relocation effort. As a fellow family-owned company, they should understand the importance of tradition and community.

Contact: publicrelations@boscovs.com

    5.    Call or email local news outlets to bring more media attention:

Let them know this is important to you and your community!

Update: WHAM 13 is covering this story on the news tonight!

    6.    Reach out to the Democrat and Chronicle.

They should follow up on their March article about Boscov’s expansion and report on what’s happening to Jim’s, since it is now being forced to close rather than relocated. Contact: newstips@democratandchronicle.com

"Boscov's isn't moving into a single existing mall vacancy. Part of it will occupy the old Burlington space near Entrance 6. (Burlington moved into the former Bed Bath & Beyond last year.) But Boscov's will stretch all the way to Entrance 6, and to the left and right of it, taking out a number of spaces where stores are closed or will close, including Rue21. A couple of businesses that remain open will be relocated."

Every action - big or small - helps! Thank you again for standing up for Jim’s and for the values of local business, tradition, and community.
