A quick update: we now have a website, https://www.savejaneaustencountry.org/ which will tell you more about what's at stake in this fight to save this iconic landscape, run you through the nitty gritty of the plan -- including a truly horrific map of all 274 housing sites currently slated for the area -- and give you ways to get in touch, and to share more of your wonderful pictures of Jane Austen Country.

Meanwhile, the best thing we can all do is to keep sharing the petition as widely as possible.
