Hi Everyone, 

Thank you so much for being part of the campaign in protecting the amount of IVF cycles offered to residents in South Yorkshire. 

As the consultation closes, the SYICB announced yesterday that they will be pushing back the decision meeting date on the IVF (and Gluten Free) consultations due to the "significant interest and views in the engagement exercises" and therefore, they would require further time to fully consider the feedback. This is great news and shows the impact of our collective strength in pushing back on the reduction of fertility services! Well done. 

However, we still need to show strength in numbers as the final decision has not been made, and we will be able to present the petition at the decision meeting which is now being proposed to take place in early December. Therefore, please continue to share the petition and have conversations with family and friends on this important issue, otherwise the impact will be significant for those who are and will in the future be looking for fertility support, along with the wider secondary impacts and risks from a potentially poor decision that may be made.
