Crover House Hotel in Cavan is shamefully sponsoring cruel hare coursing. The booklet for this month's Cavan coursing meeting shows that the hotel "kindly sponsored" the "Derby Trial Stake". The hotel also later hosted presentations to owners of winning dogs. A notice in the booklet stated: "For presentations after coursing join us in Crover House Hotel".
