The Ontario court has just approved the liquidation of most Hudson’s Bay stores, starting Monday, March 24, 2025. This means inventory sales will begin immediately at the majority of locations.

🚨 However, six stores have been temporarily spared from liquidation:

✅ Toronto Yonge Street Flagship

✅ Yorkdale Shopping Centre

✅ Hillcrest Mall (Richmond Hill, ON)

✅ Downtown Montreal

✅ Carrefour Laval Mall

✅ Pointe-Claire, Quebec

These locations are still at risk—if a restructuring solution is not found soon, they could also be added to the liquidation process.

💡 What This Means

Hudson’s Bay is not completely gone yet, but we need to act NOW to push for an alternative. Thousands of jobs, vendors, and businesses are on the line.
