Dear All,

Thank you so much for signing the Save Hoo's Oak Trees petition.  I'm still waiting to hear from the Local Planning Authority at Medway Council when the applications will be presented to the Planning Committee for decision.  

Meanwhile, in the neighbouring village of High Halstow, five beautiful oak trees are under threat from Redrow who wish to create a cycleway/footway along Christmas Lane, as part of their plans to build 760 houses east of the village.  The trees will need to be felled in order to accommodate the works.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could sign the petition below to Save The Christmas Lane Oaks!  This campaign and petition was launched today.
