Our online petition has been sent to honorable Supreme Court Judge, President of India, Prime Minister of India, NGT Chairperson, moEF to highlight the plight of suffering homebuyers affected by inordinate project delay. Considering suffering of hundreds of middle class homebuyers affected by project delay, Central Government and NGT finally decided to fastrack and dispose of all residential project related cases from Tamilnadu. NGT allowed some builders to withdraw their applications to seek relief from moEF notification upheld by Madras High Court which offers one time opportunity for post facto environmental clearance on the basis of environmental compliance and penalty. On the other hand, NGT itself came forward to give complaince and penalty based post facto environmental clearance to willing builders on basis of its previous judgement. We are still waiting for NGT judgement / order copy on our case. Once we get the judgement copy on our hand, we will soon declare victory for our petition.
