Huge news! Hog's Wood listed as an Asset of Community Value

Huge news! Hog's Wood has been approved as an Asset of Community Value. We're now on the council's list of Community Right To Bid assets, which will give us a period in order to raise the funds in order to purchase the wood if they decide to sell it. It means they've recognised it as an important community asset because of its value to the local residents, which is a huge step!

This is not all good news though, because as the site is actually owned by West Devon Borough Council they could potentially develop it themselves and they wouldn't need to notify us. So we will need to keep a careful eye as things move forwards.
