We want to thank everyone who has signed and shared the petition to save us, we truly appreciate your kindness and support. Please spare a moment to read through this update as it is incredibly important. A lot has happened since we first created this petition, and we would like to explain where we are now and why we need you more than ever.
After a good few months of chasing up the council, trying to get help and information from councillors, residents, papers, businesses, you name it, we are at a stage where are almost ready to present our petition to the council to reconsider their decision.
We had been left in the dark for such a long time and after all that we have been through whilst still running our plant sales and doing voluntary work, we have been offered something completely unsuitable for the needs of our community, have been overlooked and ignored. We know what our community needs and we owe it to them to try and stay where we are. The plans will displace many patients who cannot simply go to another surgery, disturb the residents of Kent house care home, compromise their privacy, and leave a gap in care and support for the many Headstone and Harrow residents that lean on us.
We aim to band together with our friends at the Wijeratne Surgery to ask the council to allow us to stay, and to do that we still need more signatures by Friday the 10th of July.
We ask you now, whether you signed today or on the first day of our petition, to please share this with as many Harrow residents as you can (Please make sure that they can input a Harrow Address so that this petition counts) and write to your Local councillor explaining why the Horticultural Society and the Doctor's Surgery are vital for the community, and that our removal will greatly affect the lives of those that depend on both.
See the link below for the list of councillors.

Let's prove the strength that we hold as a community!
Please share today.
Thank you, Headstone Horticultural Society
