💔 “Where were you…?” 💔

A cry for help, whispered through those big, questioning eyes.

Alone on Muizenberg Beach, Cape Town, South Africa, this tiny Cape fur seal pup – stood motionless among the kelp, emaciated, cold, and barely clinging to life. Its eyes said it all.

It didn’t cry. It didn’t move. It had almost given up.

But we didn’t.

The Hout Bay Seal Rescue Centre rushed in. The little one is now safe and healing — slowly gaining strength and becoming our little mascot. A symbol of why our work matters.

But pups like this keep coming. And our resources are at breaking point.
