Have we won the battle? Zephyr Mining, Ltd had a deadline of February 7th to reply to the 102 objections listed by DRMS to Zephyr's permit application. As of this writing we are unaware of any response.  The Arkansas Valley Conservation Coalition and our partners in stopping this potential environmental calamity will begin planning celebrations should Zephyr fail to make any response. A final decision is scheduled for February 28th by DRMS. The window for requesting an extension may still be open. Fingers crossed!  Stay tuned!
