PLAINFIELD RESIDENTS - DON’T DESPAIR

The YES vote last night on the gutting of Plainfield’s Historic Preservation Ordinance is only the beginning of the approval process.  Keep putting pressure on the government.  Send emails to Mayor Mapp and the Director of Economic Development and tell them you want historic preservation laws strengthened, not weakened.  No church should ever be demolished and the interiors also need protection.  The above photo is an interior of a church in Plainfield.  I will let you know of the next meeting to attend.
