The tragic loss of "HARAMBE" , the innocent gorilla of Cincinnati Zoo in America being shot to dead in his enclosure by the people whom he trusted wholeheartedly is a wake up call to "ANIMAL RIGHT ". Human beings took the life of this precious world heritage for granted! Here is the petition for the US government to issue 'Harambe's Law' so there are legal consequences when an endangered animal is harmed or killed due to the negligence of visitors >> www.change.org/HarambesLaw This is a wake up call for Thailand to look deeply into the suffering of "BUANOI" , our one and only gorilla being held in captivity up on the high rise zoo of PATA for almost 3 decades, #The campaign for Buanoi in Thailand has successfully raised over 68,000 voices. PATA ZOO has agreed to find her a new home within 4 years from now ( June 2016 ) . #The first draft of Thai zoo regulations has been implemented by Department of National parks and Wildlife Conservation (DNP) . The draft yet awaits the public approval to reassure the law and regulations are there for animals' right and well being. The campaign has come to the point that we need to reach out for global attention, to put pressure as well as to give support for the new home for Buanoi to happen. Our petitioner from Australia, Jodie Broad, had travelled all the way from Gold Coast to meet the Deputy Director of DNP to offer a proposal to PATA if PATA agrees to seek support from gorilla experts from the zoos in Australia. We need a professional team to design a new sanctuary for Buanoi once the new location has been settled. Supporting with fund raising globally by selling books for wildlife conservation is also in the plan if that is what delays the decision to move her. Education and awareness is the key to make the world see what has been unseen. "TO ROAR and SHAKE MOUNTAINS" is a book written by Jodie Broad will be published in Australia to raise fund for Buanoi. The campaign for Buanoi still carries on in Thailand. 68,050 voices to shake Mountains will be topped up to a million hopefully! The first bilingual book for conservation in Thailand , "BUANOI ... MY LITTLE LOTUS" which have been donated to many children in many schools In the north and northeast of Thailand are still available at 200 bht (plus registered post). The educational project still goes on.
