Are you contributing to, or receiving, the Greenwich Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS)?
If so, you have an opportunity right now to influence how your pension is invested.
A recent report (referenced in the attached image) highlights concerns about the Council’s pension fund investment policy and transparency. At the same time, campaigners are raising serious ethical concerns about investments linked to companies operating in or connected with human rights abuses.
📊 It has been reported that over £61 million of pension investments may be linked to companies associated with Israel. Many members are calling for greater transparency and for the fund to adopt a stronger ethical investment stance.
