Also note that exotic-dominated forest marked brown colour in report maps are still lush forest areas (green legend areas have more native flora, brown areas have less native flora). Hence the plan doesn't preserve most of Gillman Forest as claimed in the news, because non-native dominated forest actually makes up 80-90% of Gillman Forest today.

HDB officially announces Gillman development on 10 July 2026. Most of Gillman Forest is marked for new housing. Historical buildings and a running track is marked for development as well.
