Gov study reports and project's public feedback links are open for comments until 6 August 2026.

HDB officially announces Gillman redevelopment on 10 July 2026. Most of Gillman Forest is marked for new housing. The western ridgeline of Singapore's Southern Ridges, heritage buildings and a running track are marked for development as well.

Almost all of the second and third forest types have been marked for development (as well as some clearance of the native-dominated or first forest type). Therefore only a small portion of the original Gillman Forest will be retained...
