Thank you all for taking the time to sign our petition to save our garden we are currently sitting at 1,685 signatures and would like to ask you to help spread the word once again. With no update from the city, we have a hopeful feeling we might have a 2025 edition to look forward to, but time will tell.   
     Over the course of 27 years Garrison Flats Community Garden has been working towards being great land stewards and a community space for all, humans and wildlife together. With our membership base of 55+ individuals we have a diverse wealth of experience of being active at the garden and over the past year have been arranging and hosting a variety of beneficial events for the general community public. We feel now more than ever we deserve to remain in place for next year and many years after that.
     In a community that doesn’t have a community gathering place of its own, Garrison Flats becomes that. It provides a space for people of any age/race to meet other residents, participate in activities, get educated about plants and learn about wildlife and bugs. In this way, it’s a space that can help mitigate some of the isolation and loneliness of life in a big city. We hope to be able to continue to actively invite and engage with our local communities by hosting a number of events in 2025.
