Thank you for getting engaged.  Your voice was heard! On December 10th the City Council cut millions from the budget to address the deficit while also giving the Fire Department an additional $2.5 million to prevent service reductions.  Victory!

But, our work is not done.  In January the Council will decide exactly which programs will be reduced or cut to address the deficit.  It is important to continue sending the message that cuts must come from nonessential programs and not from our first responders.
