Hi All—

I am working on the email debacle, but I need YOUR HELP.  It looks to me like we still have a few solid avenues to challenge F&M!

First off, I’m currently in Lancaster attempting to file a suit on my own. If anyone knows PA law well enough to assist, please go ahead and reach out to me  ASAP. Even basic skill with how to file an injunction would make a big difference.

That injunction would temporarily stop the school from deleting our accounts outright. More importantly, it would require F&M to stop ignoring our concerns and actually word toward a reasonable solution. I believe the genuine best option for everyone is for alumni accounts to function only for forwarding purposes, at least for the next few years, so that F&M incurs far lower storage fees. However, since we’ll soon need strong proposals to make to them, please send any other solid ideas my way and I’ll propose them should I get anyone’s ear.

I am still attempting to talk to the school leadership. I’ll plan to remind them that we’re an unusually intelligent and tenacious bunch, and make as strong a case as I can for treating us fairly.

I also aim to stir up as much media attention as possible.

***This Is The Place Where Your Help Will Be Most Important.***

Anyone willing and able to coordinate on garnering local and/or national attention, please get in touch immediately so we can marshal forces. Every single person who can join in—even just to make themselves available for contact by the press—will make a Gigantic difference.

Should all else fail and our accounts are deleted Friday, I’ve talked to a number of lawyers who believe we have the potential for a successful class action result in damages, but again, in the process, F&M would be obligated to make every good faith effort to come to a genuine agreement with us about what’s to be done.

Thank you all for caring enough to read this, and to get involved in the first place.

When there’s a good reason to fight, I don’t quit, and I don’t let up. Here’s to hoping we can win this, together.
