Hello Friends of Enterprise South Nature Park!

THIS WEEK'S ACTION TO SAVE THE PARK:
We are asking everyone to write/call their Hamilton County Commissioner and ask that they protect the 19-acre Boy Scout’s tract that the City and County are jointly purchasing, which is landlocked by Enterprise South Nature Park land and is not accessible without lifting permanent protections. Find your Commissioner on our list here.

Need a boilerplate?

“I am writing to urge the Hamilton County Commission to follow the recommendation of the Regional Planning Commission and rezone the 19-acre Boy Scouts parcel as OS (Open Space) for recreation and greenspace after purchasing.

The Boy Scouts parcel is landlocked by permanently protected, Enterprise South Nature Park land (also zoned as OS).

This is an opportunity for the City and County to continue to honor the wishes and values of our community, America’s first National Park City, and the promises to conserve ESNP land forever, as stated in the deed.”
