ACTIONS

• NEW: City Council and County Commission Meeting Sign-up Sheets
  • If you know you can commit to being a presence at an upcoming meeting, please sign-up for a slot (more than one is great, too!), so we know we have a presence at every meeting going forward. Public comments are 3 min max. Suffer from stage fright like me? Write your statement out beforehand and read it if that's easier. Keep it simple. Add your personal story. And check out our FAQS page for great talking points!
• Continue to print and share our infosheets/flyers.
• Continue to call and email your local & state reps so they know this issue is still top of mind. 
• Add your public input for the County's records.

UPDATES:

Last week was a BIG WEEK for Save ESNP. Here’s the shortlist of what we’ve been up to:

• We held our first volunteer meeting and info session. Thank you so much to everyone who joined and contributed. If you’d like to come to our next meet-up (date TBD), just send us an email at SaveESNP@gmail.com!
• We met and had a great conversation with District 9 Hamilton County Commissioner Dr. Steve Highlander who says that we have his full support. 
• We had a wonderful hike and conversation with District 29 State Representative Greg Vital along Sunshine Trail and Magnolia Loop at ESNP. He believes we can find a path toward protection of ESNP while protecting the future of McDonald Farm and is so encouraged by the response from community members making their voices heard. 

Now let’s get to 10k signatures!! (only 260 more to the next milestone!)
