Thank you for your email.  I have received several emails from constituents who oppose the county's proposal and have seen a few posts relating to folks who are banning together in support of ESNP.  I think it is great to see so many people expressing their concerns.  

The truth of the matter is that the City has made no commitment toward this proposal and the City Council has not yet received concrete information regarding the proposal for ESNP. I have requested specific plans from the Administration to better understand what is being considered. I am looking for details regarding the proposed footprint, its impact on the surrounding developed park space, and the residential areas. The information shared by County officials, based on my conversations with the Administration, appears to be an idea without a concrete plan.  

All that being said, I am in favor of protecting our park space and once I have more concrete information, I will make sure that information gets shared with my database.
