On Monday, January 28 at ~ 8:30 PM the LASD Board of Trustees will present their preliminary facilities offer to BCS for the 2019-2020 school year. LASD staff is recommending that next year, BCS is housed on Egan and Blach (status quo) PLUS 1-2 additional sites at elementary schools (net new). 

My viewpoint is that though we may have an initial offer for facilities for the next school year, BCS still has the opportunity to counter. So, we're not done with the process for next year yet. Additionally, we still have not addressed the issue of enrollment growth over the next few years. Without a long-term agreement, we will likely be dealing with Prop. 39 facilities requests every year. I don't think anyone -- whether in LASD or BCS -- wants to go through this process annually.
