Thank you all for signing the petition. I co-authored a joint letter to both the LASD Board (the decision-maker on facilities) and the BCS Board (the one that filed the Prop. 39 request) from me representing a LASD viewpoint and from a vocal BCS parent representing their viewpoint. We are both asking that they resolve this by putting our children first -- that is, without lawsuit and without a winner-take-all mentality, which is how we are currently trending. I think it's strong to have a message from both "sides" in this letter asking for the same things.
