Hi supporters, thanks so much for signing the petition. We passed 2,000 signatures! Let's keep going and get to 5,000. Two things have come to my attention and I wanted to ask for your help:

• Donations: I heard that many of you donated. Please note that I did not ask for donations, and the money is actually going to Change.org's "Promote Petition," which goes to fund my petition being advertised on the Change platform. It does not go to this cause. If you made a mistake, please ask for a refund with the customer help center. You can get a refund within 14 days I believe. 
• Comments: I've also heard from BCS supporters about how they do not like the negative comments about them in the comments --- that they feel vilified. My goal is not to bring more divisiveness to our community or vilify anyone in our community. In fact, I'm going to reach out to BCS families about working together for a more reasonable solution. Please feel free to share your opinions, while keeping in mind that what you say may impact our community's abilities to come together.
